Frequently Asked Questions
We are out of network with all insurance for the consultations. If you have insurance that will pay for blood work, you may put your insurance information into your portal chart and designate that your blood work be billed to insurance. Most specialty labs do not take insurance (saliva, stool, nutrient, mycotoxin, environmental toxins, heavy metal and food sensitivity testing) but we do not order these unless they will improve your ability to increase your health and vitality.
If you have an HSA card you may use that for consultations, supplements and specialty labs. We can provide you with an insurance invoice to give to your HSA provider and insurance company. Some patients have received reimbursement for services from their insurance company.
This will vary with complexity, whether you see the MD or the nurse practitioner, and whether you choose to purchase a membership. This will range from $400-$650. Memberships range from $109/month to $199/month and are customized for patients’ goals.
While it might be tempting to get labs done in advance, we recommend waiting until after your first visit. There are many independent labs selling packages online, often with generic interpretations generated by AI that may or may not apply to you.
Our practitioners strive to only order labs that will directly guide your therapy plan and produce the best results for you. If you have a particular concern—whether hormone balance or cognitive health—we can tailor lab orders specifically for you after reviewing your medical history, speaking with you, and performing a physical examination.
If you’ve already ordered labs from an independent lab, you are welcome to upload them for our team to review before your first visit.
Dr. Miller is an Obgyn and can perform your annual exam, do your pap smear, if indicated, and order a DEXA, mammogram or pelvic ultrasound if needed. She can also do endometrial biopsies in the office. We don’t have the equipment to do colposcopy or cervical biopsy, but she has removed cervical polyps in the past.
We are a boutique practice and we focus on helping you find the best path forward for optimal health and vitality for your specific situation. We seek to partner with you, which means that your visits may be longer so we can get to know you and help you reach your health goals.

A typical initial visit is 60-90 minutes, depending on complexity, and a followup visit is usually 40-60 minutes. Most of the visit is spent in consultation with the provider. We offer a la carte pricing as well as memberships designed to serve the needs of our patients.
Our practitioners are licensed to prescribe medications, but our goal is to help you reach maximum health with minimum medications. Our bodies are amazing in their innate ability to heal themselves when we provide the right ingredients. We want to help you find the right ingredients for your unique needs.
Our practitioners are experts in their respective fields and skilled in holistic and Functional medicine and those principles apply to most conditions.

Her practice is in Blairsville, but she is available in Alpharetta once a month for initial encounters and group visits and can do follow up care via telemedicine or when she is scheduled in Alpharetta.
There are two options for booking. You may request to book via the website and we will contact you to confirm your booking and collect initial fees when we create your portal chart and register you as a patient.
Alternatively, you can call the office during office hours (see the contact information for either Alpharetta or Blairsville) and we will help you figure out whether to opt for the a la carte option or commit to a membership as an investment in your long term health.
